The term “I’m a spiritual person” is something I struggle with. Yet it is the start to acknowledging there is something bigger then here and now. But there must be absolute truths as in things that are constant. If you believe in “good spirits” then you must believe in bad. This in turn will bring to light the fact that there must be some sort of spiritual battle going on and if this is so,” What is it all about?” Well I believe it is a battle for your soul. As spiritual being on a physical plane we are in the heat of battle every day. Yet we seem to be going around blissfully unaware. As we cater to the desires of our flesh. Some of these desires draw us to the “good spirit” while others take us down that wide dark road to dispare and hopelessness. It is a choice we are making every day. It is a choice that has eternal significance!
The soul is the essence of who you are. It is not my desire to focus on the soul since what we are in essence is what makes us different. In referring to Spirit I focus on The Holy Spirit. It is the essence of God given to us through faith to help draw us closer to Him. His Spirit helps us reach our full potential.
Even on your darkest day it is important to remember God’s light is still with you. The powers of this world want you to forget that. Stay strong, you will get through. Victory is ours through our Lord who dwells in us! Amen

We do not walk this life alone we walk it with God if we choose. We are created beings and there is a reason for all things. Regardless of how things appear I can trust that God is with me through it all. Scripture states “we do not battle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in heavenly places.” We should live this life in light of eternity. We are spiritual beings on a physical plain. I walk with God, through the relationship we have I am able to become a far better person then I ever thought possible.
